October wishlist!

In Britain at the moment the lovely Summer weather seems a distant memory. I wake up greeted every morning either by a cold blast of wind or a lot of rain. I love winter, mainly just as an excuse to wear knitwear all the time, I love log fires, Halloween and Bonfire night, drinking cosy hot chocolates whilst watching a film and the pinnacle of Winter in my opinion; Christmas!

I have devised a little wishlist of some things I'd like to get for the Winter months. I found everything using the very handy app on my phone Mallzee. If you haven't heard of Mallzee, where on earth have you been hiding haha!? This app has been beautifully described 'like Tinder but for clothes' as you can swipe left if you like something or right if you don't.

You can add friends via FaceBook on the app and you can ask their opinions on things as well which I think is great as sometimes if you like something yet you aren't entirely sure it'll suit you asking someone else's opinion can influence you massively. It has a list of over 200 different brands and you can whittle down your choices of brands and what you're looking for and it'll find those things for you.

It's a great app if like me, you could spend hours traipsing around hundreds of different shops and looking at very similar items yet not purchasing a thing. I would definitely recommend anyone to download Mallzee, it is a free download as well and takes less than thirty seconds to sign up, I find it really useful just to have a browse at different clothes, shoes and accessories that I like from the comfort of my own bed.

Anyway, here's to my October wishlist!

I love everything about these boots. I am a big fan of black chelsea boots anyway but I really love the croc effect and gold detailing. These boots are £45 from ASOS here

.
Similarly I really like these Black triple strap boots from New Look. As a tall girl I shy away from heels which is annoying because they all look really pretty but I'm very self conscious of my height. I find ankle boots with a little heel make me feel very on trend and will look good dressed up or for a casual look too. These boots are £27.99 from New Look here.

Are you noticing a slight black theme going on here? It's such a versatile colour to wear and you can wear anything with it. I love this 3/4 length sleeve bardot neck dress from New Look. I think it looks very slimming and chic. It costs £12.99 here.

Moto leigh jeans, Topshop £38. I want to get myself a couple of pairs of decent jeans that will fit well and keep the shape. I've been eyeing up a few pairs and Topshop ones feel and look the nicest.

Similarly from above I like the look of these Intense Blue Leigh jeans also for £38.

I really like this Deena and Ozzy mock Croc effect backpack from Urban Outfitters. It costs £42.

I really like this navy cord shirt also from Urban Outfitters. I think it would look cool buttoned up with a pair of jeans in the daytime or even undone and worn over a dress for a casual look. This is £30.

I think this leather jacket from Dorothy Perkins is great as I've been on the lookout for a leather jacket like this for a while now. It is £49.

Shopping in Bristol!

Yesterday, my mum and I went shopping in Bristol for the day. We live about an hour away from Bristol so it's not too far in the car. Originally we were going to go to Bath shopping for the day but decided on Bristol instead as we haven't been there in years, it has a lot more shops (a much bigger and better Primark) and they're only about 15 miles away from one another so it's not too far at all.

I love how Bristol has a lot more shops or even has bigger high street shops there so there was a lot more choice in them. I'm going to share with you some pictures of the things I bought.

First of, Primark.

I picked up this lovely camel coat after a bit of umming and ahhing over it. It was only £23 which I thought was a steal considering it's very comfy, feels lovely and soft and it could also pass as a Zara coat or something.

Here's a close up of it.

I got this white polo neck for £4 which will be a great staple in the winter.

I picked up this £10 hooded sweatshirt as it's great for slouching around the house in or walking for the dog.

I got this tartan scarf as well for £5. I love tartan especially in the winter and this was such a great price too as it would probably be triple the amount in Topshop.

I also picked up this little purse as well for £3 which is great if I don't want to take a massive bag with me, or even to use as a small coin purse.

Inside it is separated into two sections.

I also got some essentials in Primark like tights, plain socks etc but thought they were a bit boring so didn't photograph those.

River Island

Usually I'm not the type of person to buy fake body piercing type things but this fake nose ring caught my eye. I've always thought nose piercings look quite cool but am not brave enough to get it done properly. Seeing as this was only £3 I thought I would try it out and see if it suited me then I might get it done properly.

I got these cool earrings for £4. I saw some like this on Asos a while ago but never purchased them but I saw these in store and really liked the simple look of them.

H&M

I got this black and white pattern print 3/4 length sleeve top because I really liked the button detail on the back.

See the button detail. I think this was about £12.99.

Close up of the button detailing on the back.

I got another black and white shirt, this one was down to £5 in the sale.

I like the way the print is smaller on the collar compared to the rest of the shirt.

I got another white cami top as well for £7.99. I'm really loving cami tops at the moment.

I like how on this one the material near the chest area is a bit more sheer compared to the rest of the material. You could wear it with jeans for a casual daytime style or dress it up with a skirt, leather jacket and heels for a smart going out look.

For the journey home we finished off in Harvey Nichols, trying our best to discreetly hide our Primark bags as I lovingly gazed at all the Louboutins, we got some provisions for the car journey home.

Delish! Such a guilty pleasure of mine.

These were £1.25 and looked so cute too!

Topshop and Boots shop!

Now I am working more or less 5/6 days a week I often don't really fancy doing anything on my days off. So much so, I haven't been into a big town or shopping for what feels like ages! So today, my stepdad and I quickly drove to a big town near us and I had a little look round the shops. Why is it when you have the time to browse and more money than usual that things in shops just don't appeal to you, yet when I have no money everything looks great?!

So I'll start with Topshop!
I got this top for £25. It is a navy and white stripe tee with a bit of lace at the bottom and the sleeves.

I think it will look nice with a pair of jeans, either blue or white, or even with a pair of shorts or a skirt.

I also picked up this choker for £5.50 in the sale. I'm a little bit obsessed with chokers at the moment!

I really liked this one when I picked it up, it's a bit different compared to usual chokers and I also really love the teal colour.

I bought this set of rings too for £8.50 in the sale. I love stacking rings at the moment so I think a few of these on my hand would look really cool.
I like that this set has a selection of rings as well as midi rings.
Excuse my sausage fingers!

What I got in Boots!

I've repurchased this time and time again. It really is one of my favourites, it's very soft and nourishing, leaving your hair feeling silky smooth and smelling amazing too because of the honey extract in it. These are both £2 off at the moment too!

I picked up these make up sponges because they are so easy to apply nail varnish to and do an ombré effect with.

I know practically all bloggers don't favour these, but I love them! They are so much easier to use. Just wipe my face and it's all done! I do also have make up removers, toners, cleansers etc but if I want to take my make up off quickly before bed I'd just use this!

I can't find my old tweezers anywhere and these are quite cheap so I got these.

I also got some scissors.

I got this fake tan spray by Garnier, I really like this one, it dries quickly, makes you looked tan and not orange and I personally think it smells quite nice too.

Another repurchase here with Loreal Super Liner Ultra Precision eyeliner. This one is a very bold black and has a wonderful staying power.

I got Soap and Glory's Hocus Focus illuminator which I am quite excited to try. I usually really like most Soap and Glory products so I hope this will live up to expectations.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little haul! Thank you so much for reading, love A, x.
