Good morning!!
I have work today so i'm going to do a quick blog post now and maybe one later after I've finished.
When I first started my blog I was looking at and following a lot of other beauty blogs for inspiration and to find out what the best things were to blog about. I noticed there was a common item across a lot of blogs and it is this..

ootn
Hi you?!
Three posts in one day, my aren't you a lucky lot! So I went out this evening to the pub (please do not judge me even though I went out last night, it doesn't happen a lot I swear) as it was my friend Sam's leaving drinks because he is leaving tomorrow for Brighton uni.
It was a weird evening as I felt sad as he is a close friend of mine and he is going away, happy because y'know vodka but also I had a weird feeling of happiness. Which probably sounds really odd but for weeks and weeks now I have endless people tell me how excited they are for uni or how they don't feel prepared or what fancy dress clothes to get for freshers. Don't get me wrong I am happy for them and so envious of the fact they know what career path they want to go down and are trying to achieve this. But not many would ask about me and frankly after a while I couldn't care less about your flatmates or how the SU rep is really annoying.
I tend to look forward to weird things like at 11am I look forward to going to bed at night or when I'm falling asleep I look forward to having something nice for breakfast. So for ages now October marked the time of my life when I would get everything together. I know, I do realise that October starts on Tuesday and I am still grossly behind this made up schedule but still.. I vowed to myself I would figure out what it is I'll be doing with my life, I'll sort out a career situation and hopefully lose some weight in the mean time.
So somehow this outfit of the night post somehow turned into a weird diary entry but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. As you may have seen in a previous post today I bought some things in Primark recently and I wore the black sweatshirt and a necklace I also got out this evening.

Miners foundation
Hello!
So Miners Cosmetics have launched a new range of foundations called Fresh Faced Foundation. I got sent the Almond, Ivory and Buff shades and I think that as foundations go they are very good. They cost £4.99 and I think that its great value for money.
Primark Haul
Hello you lovely lot!
This post has been delayed a bit but I've finally got round to putting it up so snaps for Abbie! *If you haven't seen Legally Blonde that probably made no sense*
So a few weeks back I went to the Holy Grail of cheap but nice clothes otherwise known as Primark. And I spent about £20ish I lost the receipt but it was no higher than £25. I had to take something back so I thought 'Hey!? What better time to buy a load of new stuff and try to and build a capsule wardrobe'.
So here are my new(ish) buys!!
Cute little pocket
I wasn't sure whether the quilted material would show up. So here you are..
I got a black sweatshirt as I don't actually own one like it. It's really cosy and it also has quilted theme going on with it on the sleeves.
A closer look at the quilted sleeves.
I got this gold chain necklace for £2. I don't have a lot of gold jewelry and i thought this was nice and quite understated.

Bow hairstyle
As much as I'd love this to be a tutorial post about how to tie your hair into a bow, 'cause they look so pretty and cool, it is not.
I went out to the pub tonight with one of my best friends Vicki, and I quickly tied my hair up and somehow managed to accidentally tie into a bow?!?!?!
I would love to know for the life of me how exactly I did it.
PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME FOR THE PALENESS OF MY SKIN.
How, just how?!!?
On the brightside my hair looks wonderfully shiny!!
Thanks for reading,I hope you liked it! Love, a X
Exercise..More like exersighs
Hello!
So I am going to talk about something that I don't really like talking about. Which is my appearance and weight. I have never been one of those ultra confident girls who felt good in what they wear. For most of my childhood I have been bigger than the others and I always felt like the odd one out. When I was younger I was fat. Not puppy fat, not 'big boned' I can admit I was fat. I like eating, eating is probably one of my favourite hobbies, which makes me sound really weird I know.
I would always feel self conscious and looking back it makes me sad to think that I felt this way as a child. I was more than happy in myself I had a great upbringing, a loving family and lots of friends but I never felt like one of the normal girls.
It was probably when I reached secondary school that I took more pride in my appearance and wanted to change the way I looked and the way I felt towards myself. I would hate looking at myself in the mirror or even walking past a shop window in case I caught a glimpse of my reflection.
My problems with losing weight were 1) food tastes good. And 2) I have had an innate hatred towards sports and physical education since I was about six and we spent countless hours in PE at school balancing and walking up and down on an overturned bench, to this day I still don't know why that was classed as sport.
In my teenage years there came a slight *keyword here is slight* turning point I would cycle for about a mile or so at 6am every morning before school, although I did feel great, no weight was lost and I slumped back to square one, twirl bar in hand.
Over the years my weight has gone up and down but sadly more ups than downs. Over the last two years I have tried to get into exercise and sports and in my first year of sixth form we had an activity to do for two hours every wednesday afternoon and my friends and I thought it'd be a wonderful idea to join the running club which would eventually lead up to us running a 10k. I thought it'd be alright, but who was I kidding, before signing up for this the closest I had got to running was playing Temple Run?!
PLOT TWIST: I really got into running, not enough to do a 10k though, but I enjoyed the feeling afterwards, the chats I had with my friends Fleur and Aderyn on the way and the way I felt I could eat something chocolately without feeling bad about it. Because of exams and other things I stopped and don't do it as much as I should, but I would like to get back into it again.
For the last couple of months I have felt rather deflated and unhappy with the way I look, I have been doing a bit of exercise although I know I could be doing more. I have looked into joining a gym but I have this thing where I feel you kinda have to be in shape already to go to a gym. I would feel vastly out of my comfort zone with bodybuilder to the left of me and Victoria's Secret models to the right whilst I struggle on, redfaced in between.
I have set myself my own personal goal to lose weight by christmas and to also be able to fit into the size 10 LBD looking sad at the back of my wardrobe. Healthy eating and doing plenty of fun exercise. I've joined aerobics classes which do a range of different workouts and I'll keep you updated along the way!
P.s I feel like I should add the fact that it also makes me very angry that we are in a world that body image affects so many people and their emotions. Calling someone fat is just as bad as calling them too skinny, who are they too judge anyway. There are so many articles slating celebrities for not looking their best or perhaps having a tiny bit of cellulite then on the following page they are being praised for looked svelte and slim!
Thank you for reading, I hope you liked it. Love, a x

Liebster award....
Hello!
So Megan at MissMadAboutNails has nominated me for the Liebster Award which i'm really happy about! I don't want to come across as big headed or anything like that but I have realised that this is the fifth time I have been nominated and its not that I am not grateful or appreciative of this, I have just done quite a few and I don't want it to come across as repetitive for you all to read and most of all I don't want to deter you from reading my posts.
Anyway! I'm going to state the 11 facts about myself and answer Megan's questions as truth be told I like doing these types of things and letting people know about my weird and wonderful quirks!
11 Things you probably didn't need to know about me!
1) I am afraid of the ocean and would never get on a cruise. I think the ocean scares me as it goes down and down and down for miles. I feel ok when I can see what is underneath me but when you can and then it gets to that pitch black bit where anything could be lurking it creeps me out. And with cruises, I see why people would do it as you have got practically everything you'd ever need onboard but I hate boats and sailing and everything like that anyway so I wouldn't feel comfortable at all.
2) My favourite fruit pastel colour is the black one..or is it purple? Either way I like the darkest one!
3)When I was about 8 me and a friend entered a school talent show and we dressed as hula girls and made up a really bad (at the time we thought it was great) dance routine to Agadoo. *This is shamefully 100% true. Eurgh and we didn't even win!!!
4)I'd really like to do a first aid course as I think that would be really helpful to know. I also think it should be taught in schools. As in my opinion it would be a lot more useful to do and learn than making people do cross country when they have no aptitude for physical education anyway *AHEM MR MORRIS*..
5)When I was little my dream job was to be a banker. Which looking back is really dull as most 4 year olds dreamt of being a princess or an astronaut and I wanted to be a banker..
6) I would love to have a food fight.
7)If i won the lottery I would love to buy lots of puppies and kittens and also install a massive library room in my mansion home with a rolling ladder.. A girl can dream, right ;)
8) I love watching cookery shows on tv. Anything from Jamie's 15 or 30 minute meals, Gordon Ramsey's plethora of tv shows, Barefoot Contessa, Man Vs Food, You Gotta Eat Here. You name it I'll have probably watched it.
9) When I was younger I used to hate my freckles, they were a lot darker and I was a lot paler. But now I don't mind them and sometimes I forget that they are there. I don't know if that makes me sound gross like I don't wash.. I do wash. I promise.
10)I've never really had a pet before. My sister and I had goldfish when we were younger but they don't really count in my opinion as you can't really play with a fish.
11) I love travelling. There are so many places around the world that I would love to visit one day.
