Shopping in Bath

Hello!

On Monday I went shopping in Bath with one of my best friends, Vicki! I thought I'd share some photos with you of my day and some things I bought.
We caught the train which only took half an hour. It was really scenic journey there.

When we got there we went for lunch at GBK and this was my first time going there and really enjoyed it. Vicki had a cheeseburger and I had a chicken burger and it was really tasty.

The fries we ordered were skinny fries and they were so so tiny! This picture doesn't really show how mini they are. The fries also came with Hei Hei salt which was really nice, different, but nice! It smelled a bit like curry powder.
I got these two scrunchies in Urban Outfitters for either £4 or £6 I can't remember but I do really like them. It really reminds me of the 90's not only because of it being a scrunchie but also the red tartan and black velvet material too.

I got this skater skirt in New Look for £14.99. I think it would look really nice with a collared shirt tucked in or even in the summer as well.

I gave in to temptation and bought some Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I got my sister two strawberry glaze ones and I had a caramel macchiato one on the way home  on the train.

I may have spent a little bit too much in Lush too!
I bought the bath ballistic tisty tosty because I think it smells really nice and looks pretty too. It has a lovely floral scent. Costs £3.25

Ahh! I purchased the Golden Egg as well which is a beautiful mix of a bath bomb with a glistening bath melt outside. When melting it should leave a delicious sweet/toffee scent. Holding this in the shop I felt like Harry Potter in the triwizard tournament! I can't wait to use this, even if I'll be scrubbing the bath of glitter for hours on end! Costs £3.50

I got two fluffy egg bath ballistic because it looks cute and smells amazing! It genuinely smells exactly like Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel with its gorgeous candy scent. Delish! This costs £2.95

The second Fluffy Egg I purchased, I'm really looking forward to using these.

I also picked up Honey Bee for £3.25 which has a sweet, honey fragrance hence the name. The honey and aloe Vera in this also helps to soothe and cleanse the skin.

I got this yuza and cocoa bubble bar for £3.25. Usually I don't like chocolate orange flavoured things but I really liked this!

I really like the architecture in Bath. I think it's a really beautiful city and would love to live here.

Bath weir. Whenever I go to Bath I always like to go here.

Boots, Topshop and Primark haul!

I went into town with my sister yesterday to do a spot of shopping, we had some lunch at Pizza Hut and we even saw our grandparents too!

I'll start with Primark. Because it is the Holy Grail of shops after all..

I got this dark green jumper for £3 reduced from £6. It was in the men's department, in a large size as I prefer the oversized look and I saw a similar one in Urban Outfitters once which was a lot more expensive.

Topshop
I got two pieces of jewellery today, nothing else really took my fancy.
I liked this delicate little necklace. I really like the look of simple necklaces like this one that you could easily wear all the time.

So cute! And I don't usually wear gold jewellery either I tend to prefer silver. This was £4.50

I really like this chunky gold chain bracelet. It was £5.50

Boots
I picked up some face pads as I'm nearly running out! Then I bought a Boots tea tree and witch hazel face wash. This range is inexpensive, works a treat on me and leaves your skin feeling oh so soft! It's not a typical blogger buy but I love the Original Source shower gels. The line one smells so good!
I picked up a Seventeen primer as the one I use is a bit old and the pump no longer works which is annoying as it has about a quarter left and was very good. As I'm a bit of a magpie for nail polishes I also got a Seventeen graffiti polish, a Seventeen pearlescent polish and a Rimmel London bright orange polish too.

The pearlescent one is very similar to both a Topshop and a Model's Own shade. I really like the bright orange I think it would look really nice in the summer.

Each polish with two coats. The two nails on the left are the graffiti polish one with a black polish underneath and another just plain on a white nail wheel.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. Love, A x.

Shopping with Glitter Gnome haul!

Hello!

Yesterday Titch and I went shopping and I managed to put a lot of my Christmas and birthday vouchers to good use. I bought several things that I had been wanting for ages as well as picking up a few other things too. I am going to show you the things I bought from each shop and I'll start off with the holy grail that is Primark!

I really like this top and have a similar one in black with a plain white lace collar. This was only about £12.

It is made out of a really nice stretchy grey material.

I really like the lace and pearl collar, I think it looks really girly and pretty.

A close up of the lace and pearl collar.

I found a necklace I really liked too and it was only £5!
I'm not usually a fan of gold jewellery but this really stood out to me.

I think it looks really pretty and I like that the colours are quite neutral too especially for a statement necklace like this.

I think the chain detailing is quite different too.

As they are only £1 I got one of these and picked up another for my sister. Where do they go?! I'm always buying more and losing them?!?

As you may have seen in my end of January wish list post I wanted a pair like this from Topshop. I did see them in Topshop but they were £10 and these were £2. The only real difference between these two aviators is that the Topshop ones are black frames compared to these silver ones.

I also got these in Primark for £2 as I saw very similar ones in Topshop for £18. I've always had black oversized sunglasses but I liked the look of these round ones even if I do look like Willy Wonka!

With these I like the fact the sunglasses arm is quite thick.

They both also came with a little black bag to carry them in.

River Island
Also featured in my end of January wish list were these black cut out boots. I've wanted these for ages and I finally purchased them yesterday. They cost £38.

I really love the look of cut out boots!

Front view of them.

And a close up of the buckles.

H&M
I got this skirt for £14.99. I really like the patter and skater style and plus I've been looking for one like this for ages!

What it looks like from the front.

A close up of the pattern on it.

What it looks like from behind. I like the zip detailing.

Boots
There was a few offers on that I managed to take advantage of. There was a buy one get one half price on the batiste dry shampoos and a three for two on Seventeen products.

I usually use te floral and flirty blush one but as there was a buy one get one half price I thought I'd try a new one for a change and I thought the striking and spicy monochrome had the nicest looking bottle ha!

I got the miracle matte foundation in porcelain from a recomendation from Titch. I have used wake me up foundation by Rimmel for ages and really liked that one so thought I'd try a new one for a change.

I've seen Super Lash mascara advertised and it looks really good so I picked that up to give it a go it had an offer on it and it came with a free Super Lash Liner so I'll give that a whirl too!

Lush
Ahhh Lush! Even the name itself is inviting! I have a few things from there left over from Christmas including a bath bomb, a fun bar and the majority of a bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel! Here's some things I picked up:

Space Girl bath ballistic for £2.25

Butterball which has a really nice vanilla scent for £2.50.

And Think Pink bath ballistic for £2.50.

The kind lady on the till also gave us a free sample of their porridge soap!

Topshop
And last but certainly not least I picked up three pairs of socks in their £3.50 each or three for £8 offer.
I thought these all looked really cool and would work well underneath my new cut out boots!

Thanks for reading I hope you liked this post! Love, A x

Boots,Superdrug and New Look haul

Hi you!

My shopping bags and my H&M handbag.
So I went shopping today and I wasn't going to spend a lot of money as I'm (keyword here) supposed to be saving money. Well that certainly didn't go to plan. As soon as I see the word 'sale' or 'buy one get one free' etc my mind goes "Buy. Buy it now!".

Also in my defence it was raining really heavily so I was kind of forced into buying stuff right?? Erm someone back me up here..

So I'll start with Boots!

I got a baby pink lip liner pencil from Barry M costing £2.99.

Bourjois pencil sharpener as I don't have one and it cost £2.49 and its a pretty colour too!
I don't know if Boots have got a new beauty line in or I just never noticed Sinful Colours before but they have a fantastic and massive line of nail varnishes for £1.99 and I picked up a few (five..oops)

This is really cool metalic burgundy shade called Dancing Nails. Super cute!

Same as above.

I really like this shade of pink it's not too garish and it has a kinda matte look to it. It's called  Pink Forever.

Same as above.

I really like this shiny metallic purple colour. I think it's  fun and I don't own anything like it . This one is called Let's Talk.
Same as above.

This polish is a similar shade to the one above but its a lot more glittery and pretty. It's called  Frenzy.

Same as above.

I think this metallic white shade is really cool  and there is a kind of 'Mother of Pearl' feel about it. This shade is called Tokyo Pearl.

Same as above.

 SUPERDRUG!!

These are so handy and I just ran out of them  but in Superdrug they had  2 for 1 or some sort of similar offer on.

I bought these for £1.99 I've used them before and they are so simple to use and they work really well. I'd 100% recommend them!

I got this MUA mascara for a pound (what a bargain!!) I'll do a review on them soon.

I've seen these Baby Lips moisturisers all over the bloggersphere and wanted to get one and see what they're like! There is a buy one get one half price on all Maybeline products so I got two!

I got the clear minty one above and this pink coloured one. The Baby Lips  moisturisers cost £2.99.
I got this Collection 2000 gel eyeliner  for £4.99 I've never tried it before so am looking forward to trying it!

I used up some of my superdrug points on this L'oreal eyeliner which  is my favourite. It costs £6.49  but I think it's totally worth it.
I also got this MUA lisptick in a light pink colour for £2.

The colour doesn't show up that well but i'll do a post on it soon and hopefully it'll show the colour better.

New Look
I got this black and white geometric jumper for £11. I really liked the pattern on it and I bought it in  a bigger size because I love wearing comfy baggy jumpers in the Winter.

This is the geometric pattern on the jumper.

I got this black A line skirt for £7. It has a cool flowery embossed print on it.

Close up of the embossed print.

I picked up this sleeveless white shirt for £8. I think that it will come in handy as I could wear it tucked into a skirt, with jeans or with a jumper over it.

I also got this white t shirt that has a crocodile print style material.  This cost £9.

It also has a little zip feature on it.

Thanks for reading, I hope you liked it! Love, a x
