My first time..

So Petit Promise tagged me in this 'First Time tag' and I hadn't actually heard of it before. 

The rules:

First best friend:

My first best friend was a girl called Hattie. We met when we were about two or three and were in playgroup (preschool) together. We were pretty much inseperable throughout most of primary school until yr6 (we would have been aged 10) when her and her family moved to Texas.

First cd I bought:
The first cd I bought was S club 7's Never Had a Dream Come True single from Asda. boom impressed with my creepily good memory??

First concert:

I remember when I was about 6/7 I went to a blue peter concert (cool I know right) at weymouth beach and all the big pop stars of the time were there like Louise Redknapp. But I guess the first proper concert must have been t4 On the Beach in 2011 or Blink 182 in 2012. 

First celebrity crush:

Oh my god this makes me cringe so much thinking about it.I suppose it must have been Gareth Gates and the night of the Pop Idol final it was too late for me to stay up and watch it, so we recorded it and I watched it in the morning before school, he came second and I cried..

First Word:

I'm not actually too sure, I remember my parent's used to say it was 'Eh' which I also argued isn't a real word..

First pet:

When I was younger we had a lot of goldfish over the years. I can't quite remember any names though. I remember one we called Goldie. 

First Job:

My first job was when I was 16 I volunteered at an Oxfam then about a month later I got a paid job working on the shop floor in Boots.

First Phone:

My first phone was the Nokia 3310. Was a great little phone, I distinctively remember I bought a bright pink Hello Kitty phone case for it. It even had snake!

First tweet:

Was to my friends who already had twitter, saying "Look who's on twitter!?!"

First item of make-up:

I remember I bought a collection 2000 eyeliner pencil and would line my waterline and that would be it. I would leave the house thinking I looked the bees knees. In reality I must have looked so bad.

I think I have a problem..

I've never really noticed it was that bad until I was deciding what nail varnish to wear this morning. Seeing them all lined up in a row, I realised 1) wow there is quite a lot there and 2) that's a lot of money I have spent/invested in..

I own 27 BarryM nail polishes. That's quite a lot, I daren't count the rest. So if anyone wants to come round for a mani/pedi you know where I am ;)

I'm blue da ba dee da ba di (NOTD)

Good morning you lovely lot! How are you all? 

This morning I'm wearing just a plain black skater dress with some ballet pumps so I decided to give my nails a nice splash of colour. 

I used the BarryM Gelly hi shine nail polish in 17 Blue Grape.

I liked the bold, blue colour and high shine that this polish gave.

I decided to glam up my nails today using a BarryM shade called 305 Pink Flamingo and a Model's Own shade called Gold Rush.

I think I'm addicted to shopping on my lunch break...

Hello everyone!! I hope you've all had a good weekend. I went to work yesterday and it wasn't too busy which was nice but it got a bit boring after a while. At work I have an hour lunch break in which I get some food and say hello to my friend Sam who works in the bakery opposite. I sometimes sit in the park nearby with a book or a magazine or meet someone in town. Recently I have noticed that for about the last month or so I have been working I have bought some things on my lunch break.. for the last couple of months I have noticed and become accustomed to the fact I can't walk into a Boots/Superdrug (drugstore for all you non British folk ha) without buying something. Big or small I will come out with something. 

When I worked on the Wednesday just gone I bought three more nail varnishes as they were on offer. plus I don't have those shades so I kinda had to get them, right?! 

I got this MUA nail varnish in Deepest Purple for a £1

I like this Rimmel London nail Varnish in a shade called Black Cherries.  I like the rich colour of this one, its a really deep reddy purple colour and it makes me feel grown up. 

I've been looking for a nice purple/lilac colour for a while and this Rimmel London one was the nicest one I saw.  This one is called Oh Boy You're So Fine!! (I have massive love for Rimmel London nail varnish names haha!)


Then yesterday on my lunch break I was looking around the town and went into oxfam. The one near where I work is great as you can always find a few gems hidden away.

I picked up these two and I love them already-

CHANGES

As Summer draws to a close we're faced with a lot of changes, from the weather, to within nature,to fashion as we wave a goodbye to the tans we got over summer and dust off those knits in our wardrobes getting ready for the colder climes. And another change that many may have to face is getting ready to go back to school. 

With that in mind, over the last few days I have made some decisions myself. From plans surrounding my future and career to the smaller things like whether I should wait for payday or buy those boots in the sale.. 

In the next couple of weeks, it'll be coming up to my first year I have been blogging, which may seem like nothing to some it has felt like it has flown by to me. A year ago now I didn't imagine I would be doing this as frequently if I'm honest and I'm so grateful to all of you that read my posts but also follow my blog/journey too. 

SO, eventually getting to the point I have decided to change the URL of my blog from Prideandpedicureblogspot.co.uk to thebudgetbuyer.blogspot.co.uk

I feel like over the last year I have grown up so much more and that this new name suits me a little bit more as well as suiting the context of my blog, also I don't know if you noticed I didn't post a single blog about a pedicure once! oops..
